Community Outreach 

The community outreach is a ministry of the Freedom Christian Fellowship Church at 318 Glory Way in Sarcoxie Missouri. The purpose and goal of the outreach is to provide food and clothing to families or persons in the Sarcoxie area who have a need. 

The thrift store is operated by volunteers of the church without compensation of any kind. Proceeds from the sale of merchandise is used to pay utilities and for the maintenance of the building. Any and all cash donations are used to purchase food for the pantry and given free to anyone with a need. Food, merchandise and cash for the “outreach” is donated by various individuals, churches, and organizations and is essential for the operation of the ministry. Fund raisers are held from time to time as the need arises to ensure an adequate supply of food is available to meet the needs of the ministry.

We believe the Bible instructs us to help those who are less fortunate or have difficulties due to illnesses, loss of jobs, or other misfortunes. There are no requirements to receive help from the ministry such as church attendance, but everyone is always welcome to attend church services. Donations are always needed and donors are assured that every cent will be used to meet the needs of area families.
